Stained
Glass I |
This class is
designed for those who are new to stained glass or who would like to brush
up on their techniques. The class focuses on the copper foil method of
stained glass construction. During the class, students will complete the
starter project using glass they select. Necessary tools, except a glass
cutter, are provided. Students supply the glass and materials. |
Stained
Glass II |
Come on in and
work on your projects and leave the mess with us. This class is designed
for those who have some glass cutting experience and want to learn
advanced techniques and/or work on their own projects at their own pace.
Students should have a basic set of tools. Other tools are available to
students. |
Stained
Glass I
Fast Start |
Short on time,
but want to learn stained glass? You will build a small project using
some pre-cut pieces. You'll learn glass cutting and the copper foil
method at a fast pace. We provide the pattern, all the materials, and all
the tools except a glass cutter. |
Mosaic
Garden Stones |
Learn to make
your own unique garden stones. Choose from a variety of patterns. All
levels of experience are welcome. During the class, students will
complete a stone using quick setting "DiamondCrete". We provide all the
tools except a glass cutter. You supply the glass, mold, and
DiamondCrete. A complete material list will be provided.

Mosaic
Garden Stones II |
Take your
garden stones to the next level. Include stones, shells, and other 3-D
objects. Marbleize two colors of DiamondCrete for unique effects. Learn
more ways to use your leftover DiamondCrete. Prerequisite is the Mosaic
Garden Stones class. Students should have a basic set of tools. |
Mosaic
Crafts |
Have fun
learning the techniques for direct mosaics using scrap glass, nuggets,
glass tiles, broken china, glue, and grout. Choose from a variety of
projects—bird houses, mirrors, flower pots, etc. All levels of experience
are welcome. |
Mosaic
Crafts Liquifusion |
This exciting
technique will enhance your mosaics with a high gloss finish which
beautifies and preserves your project. In this class, you will mosaic a
serving tray from your design or a variety of patterns provided, then
apply the liquifusion compound. At the first class, you will get an
orientation to the materials and techniques and a complete materials list.
All levels of experience are welcome. |

Fountain |
Tabletop
fountains are gaining in popularity. Let us show you how to design, build
and mosaic a unique fountain from terra cotta pots, glass and glass
tiles. No experience necessary. A materials list will be provided. A
fountain kit with pump is available. |
EZ Garden &
Plant Stakes |
Create enchanting
butterflies, dragonflies and ladybugs for your garden using glass,
filigree, lead bodies, brass rods and your imagination. Glass cutting and
soldering experience are necessary. A materials list will be provided when
you register. This is a one-day, fast paced class, so be prepared to go
right to work. |
Lead
Came Techniques |
Are you
interested in building larger or more geometric designs? Then this is the
class for you. We focus on the lead came method of stained glass
construction. Students should have some glass cutting experience and
their own set of basic tools. During the class, students will complete a
leaded glass panel. A material list is provided. |

Fast Start |
A one-day
concentrated version of the Lead Came Techniques class. |
Lead
Wrapping |
Use lead
U-channel to wrap glass and tack solder some very quick and easy 3-D
projects. Make a 3-D angel or a night light in class. Get the patterns
when you sign up so you’ll have your glass cut and be ready to lead and
solder. |
Decorative Soldering |
Add a
professional finish to your projects by using solder to sculpt patterned
seams and decorative overlays. All levels of experience are welcome.
Students should know basic soldering and have their own basic tools. |
Kaleidoscope I |
Learn
kaleidoscope basics and create your own simple three sided, visually
appealing oil wand kaleidoscope. Students should know how to cut glass
and solder. A materials list will be provided. A kit with kaleidoscope
mirrors, eyepiece glass, wire and an oil wand is included in the class
fee. |
Stained
Glass Angels |
Create your
own Stained Glass Angel. Choose from a variety of patterns or bring your
own. Make a standing Angel, ornament Angel, or votive holder. Students
should know how to cut glass and have their own set of basic tools. |
Panel
Lampshade Construction |
Build a copper-foiled panel lampshade using a pattern and glass you
select. Learn the techniques and short-cuts to create your own unique
lampshade. Students should have some experience in cutting, foiling, and
soldering. |
Bevel Magic |
Enhance your
projects by using bevels in new and creative ways. Learn about the
varieties of stock bevels, bevel clusters, colored bevels, and custom
beveling. We’ll also explore the use of UV glue. Patterns will be
provided. Bring your basic set of tools. |
Stained Glass Boxes |
Learn the
secrets of a well made stained glass box. You'll learn at least 3 ways to
make and hinge a box. Several patterns will be provided. You'll be
amazed at the beautiful boxes you can make with glass. This is a fast
paced class, so students should know how to cut glass, foil and solder and
have their own set of basic tools. |

Hot
Glass I |
You will learn the basics of
fusing and slumping while making a tile, bowl, and jewelry. We provide
the kiln and molds. You provide the ideas and the glass. No hot glass
experience needed, but you should know how to cut glass and have a set of
basic tools. |
Hot
Glass II |
Expand your
knowledge of fusing and slumping with 3 new fun projects. Create unique
designs using glass frit, metal inclusions, and decals. Hot Glass I
is a prerequisite. |
Blown
Glass Ornaments |
Create your
own blown glass ornaments. Use pre-formed glass cylinders with stringers
and/or frit for mouth blowing colorful and unique glass balls. A required
materials list is provided. A kit is available at additional cost. |
Glass
Bead Making |
Have you ever
seen a beautiful glass bead and wondered how it was made? This is your
chance to learn. In this workshop you will learn all the basics, from
lighting your torch to taking your finished bead off the mandrel.
A

Glass Bead Intermediate |
Take your bead
making to the next level. Learn more complex techniques. Glass
Bead Making class or equivalent experience is a prerequisite. |
Stained Glass Jewelry |
You’ll be amazed
at the remarkable jewelry you can create with stained glass. Using both
kiln-fired and non fired glass, you will make a pin, a necklace with
pendant, and a watchband or bracelet. Glass cutting and soldering
experience are necessary. A materials list will be provided at the first
class. |
Wire
Wrap Jewelry |
Learn wire
wrapping basics using a fused piece of dichroic glass to make a pendant.
These techniques can also be used to make bracelets, earrings and other
jewelry. A kit of materials and supplies for the class pendant is
available for $15. A wire wrap tool kit is available at additional cost. |
